The original outline for the script was developed between 2003 and 2005 as a feature by writer's Kris Salvi and Sean Patton. The first draft was submitted to a screenplay contest in Burbank California. The screenplay was a runner up to be submitted to movie studio executives to look over. After being rejected, writer/actor Kris Salvi took the script and remade it into a short script.
Actor Kris Salvi drove around as a passenger in taxi's detailing gruesome stories to cabbies who would listen.
The idea for the story first originated when Writer/Actor Kris Salvi heard from a friend's father who was driving a cab, that he had a passenger who was a police officer who told his friend's father that he was on his way to kill his wife and mother in law.
The driving sequences were all done by green screen.
The film was shot over a period of one year with additional scenes added.
