Lauren Everett in The Big Part (2022)

Trivia

The Big Part

Edit
Young Maude and Fifteen-year-old Maude are played by real-life sisters McKenna Bintz and Madison Bintz.
Second Unit Director Max Kaplan and Co-Director/Writer Jesse Wright reunited on several more projects, including Hunger (2020) and Hawaii (2021).
The shortlist for Maude consisted of 5 actors, Lauren Everett, Angel Lane, Christina Jenkins, Hayley Penchoff and Reagan Hyer all of whom appear in the film in supporting or cameo roles.
Lauren Everett's character is a namesake for characters from Harold and Maude (1971), My Night at Maud's (1969), The Big Lebowski (1998) and Maudie (2016), the latter being the only famous 'Maude' referenced in the film directly.
This film reunites co-directors Spencer Boden and Jesse Wright who had previously worked together on How to Succeed in Business with a Best Friend and a Handgun (2020), where they functioned as co-directors throughout production. On this film, however, Boden directed the first half of principal photography while Wright directed the second half of and carried out responsibilities throughout post-production. This is the final collaboration between the two.
