Based on a book called Greed from the anthology book series Seven Deadly Sins which were written by author Victoria Christopher Murray.
They originally planned to shoot the first three films: Lust, Envy, and Greed in a row. Because of COVID-19, they could film only the first two movies. Lust and Envy were filmed in Canada and aired in April 2021. Wrath and Greed were moved to Atlanta and aired on Lifetime in April 2022, an entire year later.
