The 30-year-old musician announced this week that he will be dropping two live albums from his The Show: Live On Tour, which he is still currently on.

While The Show has already wrapped up several dates, Niall is currently in his home country of Ireland for two shows ahead of the weekend. He is still slated to perform in England, Mexico and more.

In a relatively short time, it's made a massive impact on every aspect of pop culture - and fortunately, there are a lot of great documentaries that chronicle the unforgettable, twists, turns, and triumphs that made hip-hop what it is today.

Many of these documentaries offer fascinating insights into hip-hop's exponential growth, such as 1995's "The Show" and 2016's "Hip-Hop Evolution," which both examine exactly how the genre became a worldwide, multibillion-dollar industry. Some of them also focus on individual artists, like 2003's "Tupac: Resurrection," a documentary narrated entirely by Tupac Shakur himself. Others focus on specific music scenes, like Ava DuVernay's "This Is the Life," which centers Los Angeles's alternative rap scene in the 1990s, while others delve into the technical aspects of hip-hop and rap, like Ice-t's...

Niall Horan continued his multi-song appearance on Vevo’s “Extended Play” series with a rendition of his song “On a Night Like Tonight.” The musician previously showcased “You Could Start A Cult” and “Meltdown” for the series, which is shot in existing locations that reflect the “vision of an artist’s project.”

The sun sets, the birds chirp, and Niall Horan sits in the middle of a gorgeous California landscape strumming his guitar. On Friday, Vevo debuted its Extended Play live performance series with Horan’s rendition of “You Could Start a Cult” from his new album The Show.

“Performing live is my favorite thing to do,” Horan said in a press release. “To bring the songs I’ve spent so much time with, seen through from start to finish is an amazing feeling. Shooting these performances with Vevo was a really special experience.

One Direction alum Niall Horan as yet hasn’t enjoyed the industry and media plaudits of his former bandmate Harry Styles, who just a few months ago won the Grammy for Album of the Year, but Horan is nevertheless having a pretty good spring. He won “The Voice” in his first season on that singing competition show, and on June 9 he released his third solo studio album “The Show” to strong early notices from critics.

As of this writing “The Show” has a score of 83 on MetaCritic based on six reviews counted thus far: four positive and two mixed, but none outright negative. That’s way ahead of his 2017 solo debut “Flicker” (64 based on five reviews) and his 2020 follow-up “Heartbreak Weather” (63 based on eight reviews). Is this indeed the best of his career so far?

The One Direction hitmaker chatted to Et Canada’s Morgan Hoffman about his new album The Show, which is out today.

As Hoffman mentioned there was a lot of relationship material on the release, Horan replied, “Yeah, 100%. I’m in a relationship, so I think that comes with [it].

Exclusive: One Direction star Niall Horan is leading a new live performance series from music network Vevo titled Extended Play.

Later this month, some of Horan’s live performances including intimate versions of songs from his new album The Show will kick off the franchise, which describes itself as a “multi-song performance capture shot in existing locations that realize the vision of an artist’s project.”

The series, which will feature other artists further down the line, will begin in one space before moving to other locations as the singer’s sound develops. Horan has previously worked with Vevo to release studio performances of two of his tracks in 2019. He broke through with X Factor-formed One Direction last decade and has been making solo albums since 2017.

Jp Evangelista, Vevo’s SVP, Content, Programming & Marketing, told Deadline Extended Play will “show appreciation for the art behind the song, and the moments that make the music.

Niall Horan is preparing to hit the road for a world tour next year, in conjunction with the release of his latest album The Show — which arrives on Friday, June 9.

Promoting the tour, Horan sat down for a lengthy interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, who asked about those persistent rumours of a One Direction reunion.

“It’s just like the conversation hasn’t happened,” Horan explained.

They've been dispelled time and time again, but according to Horan, although a musical reunion may not be on the way, the band is very much still in contact.

In a May 25 interview with E! News, Horan shared that the former bandmates still regularly correspond. "We've had three or four group chats," he said, sharing that there's now a new, particularly active one. "Some of them have been more quiet than others. This new one is definitely louder than most, and it's been great," he said. "I'm sure if I had a look at my phone in a few minutes I'd see some messages.

Niall Horan is getting back on the road.

The former One Direction member revealed on Monday The Show Live on Tour 2024, which will see him performing internationally across three continents.

“There’s nothing better than watching the crowd sing back to you with all that emotion on their faces and knowing that they’re attaching the song to something meaningful in their own lives,” said Horan in a press statement, via People. “To me, that’s always the greatest thing that can ever come from songwriting.”

The CW recently picked up the US distribution rights to Australia’s Barons, a surfing drama set in the early 1970s, and will launch the series on Monday, May 29, 2023 at 9pm Et/Pt as part of their summer primetime lineup. It’s been seven years since One Direction parted ways, and it seems inevitable that one day there will be a biopic on the boy band who took the world by storm back when the group was formed in 2010 on “The X Factor”.

In a new interview with Et Canada, we asked former bandmate Niall Horan who he’d want to play him in a 1D biopic.

“Currently, it would be Allen Leech from ‘Downton Abbey’,” the Irish singer, 29, told Et Canada’s Morgan Hoffman.

“I met him in a coffee shop in L.A. one time and we were just doing the whole, ‘We look like each other,'” he recounted of his run-in with the fellow Irishman, 41.

February ushers in a new slate of movies and TV shows making their way to HBO and HBO Max, from a slew of James Bond movies to the recently released Olivia Colman-led “Empire of Light” to, yes, the Puppy Bowl.

Emmy-winning producer Dionne Harmon has been promoted to President at Jesse Collins Entertainment from her previous role as EVP Content and Strategy at Jce. In the newly created position, Harmon will oversee all aspects of the company’s creative strategy and financial growth. She will report to Collins.

Dionne Harmon, fresh off a 2022 Emmy win as co-executive producer of the Pepsi Super Bowl Lvi Halftime Show, has been upped to president of Jesse Collins Entertainment after 10 years with the company. She had served as executive vice president of Jce since 2021.

The promotion, announced on Wednesday by company founder and CEO Jesse Collins, gives Harmon oversight of all aspects of the company’s creative strategy and financial growth, the company said in a statement. She will report to Collins, the executive producer of all programming. He is an executive producer for the Grammy Awards and the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show and produced the 2021 Oscars.

In an interview, Harmon told TheWrap she joined Jesse Collins Entertainment when the company was first starting out as primarily a producer of awards shows. However, she said she knew Collins wanted to grow Jce into a full-service production company that was “not in a box.

“The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power” star Simon Merrells and “We Hunt Together’s” Hermione Corfield will lead the sci-fi thriller “A Million Days.”

Signature Entertainment (“Elizabeth: A Portrait in Parts”) will introduce the film to buyers at next month’s Cannes Film Festival as part of its international sales slate. The film is the third pic from photographer and director Mitch Jenkins, whose debut feature “The Show” was written by graphic novel legend and “Watchmen” creator Alan Moore.

The film stars Simon Merrells (who will soon appear in the “Lord of the Rings” prequel series for Amazon’s Prime Video) alongside Hermione Corfield (“Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi”), Kemi-Bo Jacobs (“London Has Fallen”) and Darrell D’Silva (“Wrath of Man”).
