Decent enough spin on the familiar storyline with nice performances from, and good chemistry between, Emma Drogunova and Sarah Mahita in the lead roles. The development of the character backstories was weighted heavily to the younger of the "Bonnies" played by Drogunova with very little time spent on exploring why Mahita's Bonnie is the person she is today. It would have been nice to have evened this up a bit by having more time spent understanding the older Bonnie's story. Other than this, worth the watch.

This Movie sucks. Nothing in it feels real. Let alone the female leading role. Hey come on. She plays a 17 year old. But the actor is visible older, Emma D. Was 24 while shooting that film.
Its all so cringe, predictable, bad. Ok, we have some nice girl to girl scenes, some hot kisses... but the whole family background story, it is unreal and bad scripted. The social media hype- never never never that way. And for the ending: this is ridiculous, pathetic dumbness. Police would never act like they do here. And the pathetic Dialogue- It's all way over the top...
I wonder why german films must be so trashy. Maybe its because german public tv stations co produce nearly every film.... that leads to nothing good....

Yeees okay, it's probably not a ten (just trying to balance out all the negative reviews) - but I'd sure give it aaatleast a 7.5.
Yep, it's a little bit over the top, not everything is 100% realistic, still I do think that they illustrate the dilemma of a cultural background which condemns one's sexual orientation very well. I felt for Yara and I really really wanted her to be happy. And I cried many many tears - which for me is always a good sign, if a movie manages to do that, at least there's some emotion in it.
This movie probably won't be a revealation, it's a teen movie - but it's fast paced and exciting, and it makes you happy and sad and I don't regret watching it!

I see many Germans are disappointed.. but actually I liked the vibe and acting and I think the chemistry between them two was trapping.. ateast for me :)
It made me think all the worse situations came after the bad opinions about them from judgemental people which was wrong And I really expected to see that brother character "bekim(?!)" Realize something or regret at least!
'Cause he caused all the mess following.. But anyways I wish it makes a little change in communities who still follow that culture of judgement
And the ending was shocking for me really.. But I think that was the best way to excuse everything and settle them down.
