Before his career truly took off, Leonardo DiCaprio was in one of the most underrated Westerns of all time, mostly due to one of his co-stars paying for his wages. Leonardo DiCaprio's filmography is incredibly strong, abd despite being pegged as a youthful heartthrob early in his career, some of DiCaprio's best films also rank among the best of the modern era. Still, there was a time when he was still trying to find his footing in a number of roles, even after his lauded performance in 1993's What's Eating Gilbert Grape.
Prior to the megastardom afforded by the likes of both Romeo + Juliet and Titanic, DiCaprio was cast in a Sam Raimi-directed Western film, which would end up getting lost among his major films both before and after. When NCIS was just getting its sea legs, creator Don Bellisario wasn’t about to let anyone mess with his vision — not even CBS bigwigs. The network may have thought they had the final say, but Bellisario? Oh, he played hardball. The drama unfolded when CBS reportedly pushed back against Bellisario’s insistence on casting one particular actor.
A still poster of NCIS | Credits: CBS Studios
But instead of caving, the man who brought NCIS to life doubled down, proving just how much faith he had in his choice. Spoiler: it paid off. Not only did Bellisario get his way, but the show went on to become one of CBS’s crown jewels. Moral of the story? Never underestimate a creator who knows exactly what they’re doing.

For over 30 years, Randy Quaid was one of Hollywood's most colorful and dependable character actors. His career got off to a propitious start with his appearance in Peter Bogdanovich's 1971 classic "The Last Picture Show," and quickly took flight when he earned a Best Supporting Actor nomination for his portrayal of the sensitive, soon-to-be-imprisoned screw-up Meadows in "The Last Detail." 10 years later, Quaid achieved film doofus immortality as the loan-seeking rube Cousin Eddie Johnson in Harold Ramis' "National Lampoon's Vacation." Quaid had been funny in movies before, but now he was a proper drama-comedy double threat, and his brand of performance wasn't the type to curdle. He had a long, profitable journey ahead of him provided he didn't do something crazy like accuse the industry's most powerful people of trying to kill him.
Randy Quaid's downfall was so surreal it felt like performance art like he was playing Cousin Eddie on peyote.

The Perks in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies are an important part of the gameplay. They're essentially a power-up form that gives players a temporary boost from a cool ability. They give you a range of abilities that can improve your survival chances against the undead hordes. These Perks come from Perk-a-Colas, typically bought from vending machines scattered across the map. They can be very hard to find if you don't know where to look, but the locations are worth knowing.
The abilities that come with each Perk can be hard to understand, but once you know all zombies Perk-a-Colas and what they do, you'll understand why they are so sought after in the game. Keep in mind that many perks are hidden behind walls and require a fee to get past them. Also, each Perk-a-Colas costs money to get, so be ready for the price that comes with them.

Kevin Smith picks Clerks II as his favorite movie he has ever made. The cult favorite director has been writing and directing since the 1994 indie hit, Clerks. Smith has since gone on to create his own cinematic universe, The View Askewniverse, that connects the majority of his movies. Clerks II picks up 12 years later and finds Dante and Randal getting new jobs at the fast food restaurant, Mooby's, after Randal accidentally burns down The Quick Stop. Throughout his career, Smith has directed 16 movies, including the recently released The 4:30 Movie.
Now, reflecting on his career with Entertainment Weekly, Smith chooses Clerks II as his favorite movie he wrote and directed. Smith notes that Clerks II was intended as a gift to his fans after they supported the original Clerks. He also used the movie as motivation to create his podcast network and touring business, something he is still actively doing nearly 20 years later.

Annoying Nuisance will help in the quest to find the key, but first, it will need to be fed. You’re not imagining things: video games really have gotten easier over the years. That’s due, in large part, to the now-common addition of variable difficulty settings and other accessibility options. While some gamers complain these things make games too easy, they’re a welcome change for many of us who grew up in the ‘80s.
Much of the Nes library was known for its extreme difficulty. Part of that was due to the console’s technical limitations. It just wasn’t always easy to make characters move as developers intended. Sometimes it was much more conscious. Developers would make games harder so that they would last longer and so that gamers couldn’t just blow through titles in a weekend rental. But even keeping those things in mind, a few developers went above and beyond to create some of the most devious and fiendishly difficult challenges imaginable. Decades later,...

Although Quick Add is a staple Snapchat feature, users may not know how it works and how to turn it off. Snapchat allows users to add friends in different ways. Users can upload their contacts to the app to add people they know, add friends through the Search section, and by mentions in Snapchat stories. Snapchat also displays friend recommendations, similar to Instagram and Facebook's 'People you may know' suggestions.
Snapchat's Quick Add feature allows users to discover other users based on mutual friends, subscriptions, and several other factors. Getting friend recommendations on Snapchat is common, and thanks to the Quick Add feature, users can easily discover and add friends. However, Quick Add might result in users getting random friend requests from unknown people. If this happens, they might want to disable the feature entirely. Quick Add suggestions usually appear in the Add Friends section and search screen on Snapchat.

Join in the cosmic cantata, and take a trip to Schmicago!
On Schmigadoon! Season 2 Episode 3, Josh gets groovy with the hippies, Melissa meets the residents of Quick Street, and Bobby razzle-dazzles the courtroom.
It's so consistently impressive how much they cram into 30 minutes and still come up with a coherent narrative.
Cinco Paul's cleverness with lyrics comes into play in every song here. He's got internal rhymes up the shoobie-doobie, and the double meaning of "The Worst Brats In Town" -- sausages and children -- is just too good.
On Quick Street, we have Alan Cumming and Kristin Chenoweth as Sweeney and Mrs. Lovett... er, Dooley Blight and Miss Codwell, who is also Miss Hannigan from Annie.
Cumming leans into the melodrama of Dooley Blight, evoking more sympathy than menace. Vocally, both of them are at ease with the weird intricacies of the Sondheimesque score.

Clerks III was originally set during a hurricane—Hurricane Sandy, to be exact. In the fallout from that cataclysmic event, we would’ve found lovable counterculture antiheroes Dante Hicks (Brian O’Halloran) and Randal Graves (Jeff Anderson) older and definitely the worse for wear after the floods swept away their Quick Stop convenience store like an act of God. From that on, things would’ve just gone downhill for the pair.
This is the concept Kevin Smith turned into the first draft of Clerks III, and the one he presented to an audience with a live-reading of the script at the First Avenue Playhouse in Atlantic Highlands, NJ in 2019—the same place where Smith did auditions for the original Clerks movie nearly 30 years earlier.
However, by the time of that Clerks III’s live-reading, Smith already knew it wouldn’t be the version of the story to finally make it to the big screen.

The film was a dud, but the Badshah song, picturised on Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra, has garnered 1.2 billion (and counting!) YouTube views. And today, the world seems to be dancing to its perky Punjabi rap tune.
Be it Team India, American night TV host Jimmy Fallon, singer-actress Demi Lovato, Hong Kong cricketers, children from Africa or Indian aunties, everyone seems to have been gripped by the ‘Kala Chashma’ fever that has been raging on the Internet.
Recently, as Team India registered its revenge win against the Pakistan in the ongoing Asia Cup, Bollywood stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday, too, vibed to the track to celebrate the victory. What explains this sudden rage over an old song?
The song in question is from the 2016 sci-fi comedy ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ starring Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra. The track is a remake of London-based Punjabi singer Amar Arshi’s hit 1990s track of the same name.

This article contains Cobra Kai season 4 spoilers.
Throughout the series, Cobra Kai has taken Easter egging to new levels with constant shout outs to the original Karate Kid film trilogy. Season 3 saw some major throwbacks with the return of Ali (Elisabeth Shue), Chozen (Yuji Okumoto), Kumiko (Tamlyn Tomita), and more. That was a hard act to follow, but the return of Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) was an enormous Easter egg from Karate Kid Part III, tapping the franchise’s deep lore.
However, it’s those esoteric Easter eggs that are the most tantalizing, the ones that are hidden in plain sight.
That Yellow Convertible
At the start of season 4, Daniel (Ralph Macchio) implements Mr. Miyagi’s (Pat Morita) “wax on, wax off” training regimen for his new Miyagi-Do recruits. Once again, students are polishing that classic yellow 1947 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible to hone their blocking skills. That car has...

Nent Group’s Swedish label Brain Academy is plotting two major films from A-list writing-directing teams. The first, “The World Council of Magic,” is helmed by “The Most Beautiful Boy in the World”’s Kristian Petri, based on a screenplay by genre-bending author John Ajvide Lindqvist(”Border,” “Let the Right One In”).
”The World Council of Magic” is my first script not based on one of my stories,” said Lindqvist, often dubbed the Stephen King of Sweden. The film deals with a group of elderly magicians of the practical kind. In their hungry youth, they searched for the secret behind actual magic. Now, when they’re in their seventies, one of them gets the long-awaited revelation that allows him to manipulate the material world with his mind,
“Magic, real magic! But like with all great powers, it comes at a high – and bloody – price” said Lindqvist. “Despite their own lack of powers,...

Swedish production company Brain Academy has brought two upcoming features to this year’s Goteborg Film Festival: “The Perfect Patient,” currently in post-production which presented at Friday’s works in progress section, and “The Girlfriend,” which participated in Rotterdam’s financing and co pro market, CineMart.
“The Perfect Patient” tells the story of the biggest legal scandal in Sweden’s history. Hannes Råstam was an investigative journalist dedicated to proving the innocence of Thomas Quick, a confessed serial killer whose convictions for eight murders were acquired under precarious circumstances. At the time Quick was a patient at a mental hospital, and confessed to more than 30 murders. Beyond the confession the evidence was weak, and Råstam was unrelenting in unmasking the legal chaos which lead to a life sentence for Quick.
The film is ambitious, boasting a €4 million ($4.59 million) budget and a rockstar cast including Berlin Efp Shooting Star winners David Dencik and Alba August,...
