The project landed in a controversy even before it could go on the floors, as US-based filmmaker Radha Bharadwaj has filed a lawsuit to halt production of the film as she claims it borrows from her script. She has also called out Atul Kasbekar for sharing her screenplay with cast member Vidya Balan without her approval.
Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan will be working together after 11 years. Last time they appeared in "Hey Babyy" and "Bhool Bhulaiya", both in 2007.
