Well written and well acted, one of the season's best drama focused episodes

I have watched this show and enjoyed every episode of it and seen the depth of the writing, making up original storytelling and interesting characters. I didn't really feel it was something I had to write a review on but after seeing this episode I felt I had to express myself as from start to finish its some quality drama, some of the best drama on the show, putting the comedy back a bit to focus mainly on character drama. The writing team wrote a storyline for the episode so original and great that they succeeded in making one of the show's best episodes. There were some stunning editing in this episode, making the story flow very well with everything else.

The ensemble cast is incredible and the writing for their respective characters is what makes them great, they are believable and likeable. In this episode we get to see Nathan Fillion and Mercedes Mason shine the most, giving something incredible to every scene. Simply great acting in a superb episode

    Best and saddest episode

Brilliant acting all around. Mercedes Mason is powerhouse in this episode, and scenes alongside Nathan Fillion have always stood out. The twist shook the very flow of the show putting characters and audience alike on their toes

Great episode! Wrong actor in cast list

Sad and exciting episode. Wrong actor listed for Cole Midas and I can't think for the life of me the actors name that it really was, but he needs his props.

    WOW!!!!

Best episode of the series to date. One of the best episodes of a TV series in a while. Sad to see a great character go but what a exit! First time I've ever left a review for a episode of any TV series but really enjoyed this emotional episode.

    • Trivia
VARDA-alarm is an acronym which stands for Voice-Activated Radio-Dispatched Alarm. It is a type of burglar alarm that, when activated or "tripped", broadcasts the type of the alarm and the transmitter location over the local police radio frequency using a pre-recorded audio message. It bypasses "911 Dispatch system" and sends a red alert to all police within the vicinity.
    • Goofs
At the police blockade (about the 35 min mark) Officer Lopez answers her cell phone. NO police officer is going to take a personal call during a tactical situation like that.
