Andor

FAQ

At the start of the first episode, it states that it is 5 BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin). Meaning it's 5 years before Rogue One and A New Hope. And 4 years after the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. The season spans a few months.

Season 2 spans the next 4 years, leading directly in to Rogue One. So every 3 episodes will be an arc within a year. I.e. Episodes 1-3 will take place in 4 BBY, episodes 4-6 will be 3 BBY, 7-9 will be 2 BBY and 10-12 will be 1 BBY.

No. It was always intended to only be two seasons. The SAG-AFTRA strike had delayed production, pushing the release for season 2 in to 2025. It has since come out and has a definitive ending.

Yes. The first season was released on blu-ray and 4K on April 30th, 2024.

No, season 2 was the planned ending. It leads right in to the movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
