Christmas catastrophe
I watched this film on Amazon a couple of days ago, and I am still wondering if I can get my cash back? Sadly, not my time!
First off, it makes no sense. It is not funny. It is a mishmash of other movies and really poorly done. Whoever wrote and directed this should never work again. Honestly who are these actors?
It looks so bad has no flavor whatsoever! None of the actors look very happy even to be in the film.
The actor who plays Connie is really really bad. I think it's total miscasting? I have looked up this actress and she seems to be funny and good in other TV
Which brings up another point. This looks like a bad TV movie one would find on lifetime in the 80s. Skip it. Don't waste your time.

Skip this Ho Ho Horrible movie.
Deck the halls with disappointment. I watched this on Amazon last week and it seems to now have been pulled. I wanted to show it to my sister who is in Film school in an attempt to show her how not to make a movie.
Holiday twist, is a festive flop that fails to deliver even an ounce of holiday cheer. This so-called comedy is more of a yuletide yawn, leaving audiences with a lump of coal in their cinematic stockings. The only thing merry about this movie is the relief you feel when the end credits finally roll.
From the very first scene, it's clear that this is destined to be a disaster. The plot, if you can call it that, revolves around a dysfunctional family coming together for the holidays and the inevitable chaos that ensues. Unfortunately, the film's attempts at humor fall as flat as day-old eggnog, leaving viewers with forced, cringeworthy jokes that are about as funny as a fruitcake.
The characters are as two-dimensional as the wrapping paper on a last-minute gift. The overworked mom, the bumbling Sean Astin , the snippy office workers, and the wise-cracking thieves are all tired tropes that do nothing to breathe life into the stale, uninspired script. It's as if the filmmakers raided the bargain bin of holiday movie clichés and threw them all together in a desperate attempt to create some semblance of a plot.
Speaking of the plot, what little there is of it is so predictable that you can practically see the ending coming from the first snowflake. There are no surprises, no twists, and certainly no moments that warm the heart. Instead, viewers are subjected to a parade of contrived conflicts and resolutions that feel as artificial as a plastic Christmas tree.
Even the most talented actors would struggle to salvage the stilted dialogue and uninspired scenarios that populate this cinematic lump of coal. It's as if the cast realized early on that they were in for a long, joyless sleigh ride and decided to phone in their performances from the comfort of their holiday pajamas.
To add insult to injury, the film's production values are about as impressive as a homemade ornament made by a preschooler. The sets are cheap and unimaginative, the special effects are laughably bad, and the soundtrack is a forgettable mix of forgettable holiday tunes that do little to elevate the uninspired on-screen proceedings.
There are plenty of other festive films out there that actually succeed in delivering the warmth and joy that this one sorely lacks. Definitely not a classic as some of the reviews have stated wrongly. What film did they watch? Definitely not this one.

What did we just watch?
This may absolutely be the worst film I have ever seen. Even my 10-year-old daughter who loves anything Christmas was bored and pointed out every ridiculous trope in this film. We are asking Amazon for our money back. Avoid at all costs. Who the heck made this movie? Where did they get these actors? This makes Hallmark movies look like Oscar winners.
It looks like it was lit with a bright, iPhone flashlight, the music is melodramatic and ridiculous, and let's not talk about the beyond stupid dialogue.
Nothing is believable. There is certainly no miracle or joy, or even one laugh in this abomination..

Horrible movie
No real acting, plot was rushed. Whomever was involved in writing, directing, or funding this, should really not work again. Worst holiday movie I've ever seen. My wife, I, son, and daughter all hated it. We left early. Never trust your boss saying it's a great movie. This was not even a good after school special movie. People will not go see this. It was a waste of my time and money. Horrible acting, made out to be a hallmark like movie and to be honest, those are much better than this. Please never bake a movie again, do something else but never make a movie again. I'm sorry to be brutally honest and harsh but it was a waste of my money.
Incredibly dumb movie
Was looking around for something fun came across this and thought it would be interesting and funny and this is literally the biggest piece of garbage I've seen pretty much ever
How's a movies like this get made? Does no one read scripts?
Why is it so crazy bright white and purple? I didn't understand anything that was going on at all. And why is the little woman who is the lead lady so shrill and obnoxious? How is this character likable?
And if you're going to try to be a musical and have dance sequences why not coordinate all the dancers and stuff? It looks like a high school play. Are these actors even professionals? Or was this made with peoples friends? I am so confused.
Somethings really wrong here with all these good reviews. Just my opinion - this is more than awful.
