How can u compare a 10 hour series with a 2/3 hour movie
The fault or the bad luck of the makers was the series released before
The story was shown in very fast way and many facts were not covered little edits were required as there were many unwanted scenes ..heavy dialogues were badly needed to grace up ..some good songs and emotions were missing
Abhishek acted ok but flashes of guru character was seen but he managed..Nikita could not carry the character of a strong supportive wife and illeana wasted the assigned strong character
The director could had shown some more interesting elements rather then showing love story but overall direction was good
Above all it's a good watch.

The Big Bull (2021) :
Movie Review -
The Big Bull starring Abhishek Bachchan has been awaited since the announcement but since Sony LIV's Scam (2020) became huge hit on digital platform, this one suddenly became hot favourite. However, it also brings down the film because the comparison is guaranteed, no matter how different it is. Let's not compare it with Scam and try and judge it on individual strengths rather than comparative statements. The Big Bull is actually as big as bull size story which ensures one time watch but the conclusion doesn't match the set-up. It has small goat size conclusion which is certainly less than its actual potential.
The Big Bull is a story of Hemant Shah, a middle class family man who dreams to make big money and is ready to whatever for it. His desires finds a way in Stock Market to reach the destination and the rest of story shows his rise and fall. With the runtime of 152 minutes, The Big Bull keeps you hooked for almost 130 minutes. This portion is the soul of the film before it leaves the body in last 20 minutes. Nevertheless, the soul still provides enough entertainment to worth your viewing.
Abhishek Bachchan is fantastic in his role. His accent seemed little problematic, otherwise everything else is top notch. If not exaggerating it, this is Abhishek's best performance since Guru, if I'm not missing anything remarkable. Sohum Shah and Ileana D'Cruz are good in their roles but could have been lot better. Nikita Dutta looks simply gorgeous and it would have been great if she had more scenes. Rest of the cast member are decent to average. The Big Bull is a very tight film despite the intense theme and predictable consequences and the credit goes to gripping screenplay and dashing dialoguebaazi.
What The Big Bull lacks the most is creativity and innovative narrative. The story is not offbeat or out of the world stuff in itself and the scenarios like BSE and Money Scam easily suggest the upcoming events so it should have had something different in the storytelling. But it is missing. Anyways, director Kookie Gulati still roars in this general film with decent directorial methods. He could have excluded romantic scenes, songs and several other useless factors with the help of editor and The Big Bull would have been much better just like it was it was in the first 40-50 minutes. So, final words, it's good when it could have been great.

Anwar Says : I have no option but to compare this Disney Hotstar , Abhishek Bachchan starrer, release today to Prateek Gandhi's 1992 Scam on mxplayer. The later was a much realistic and well researched portrayal of this all time biggest stock broker and this is what the audience of 2020 appreciates. Never heard of the director Kookie Gulati tried to show Harshad Mehta as larger than its canvas. The readers here born in late 60's and early 70's have seen and experienced Mr. Mehta . Middle class in 1990-92 , have earned from his endeavours/ manipulations but that cannot give him credit of building the economy of the country . It was the then FM , whose liberalisation policy is somewhat responsible for bringing the Indian Economy on track. I would not say that Mr. Mehta was an organised criminal but finding lacunae in present system primarily for one's own benefit cannot make you a hero. Dramatic Liberty might be accepted but projecting someone a fanciful face is much beyond the truth . Probably a Gujrati Director wouldn't have behaved in this way . Now the performance, Abhishek Bachchan as Mr .Mehta looks like DBA of Guru , the mannerisms, dressing, dialogue delivery and everything. Ileana D'Cruz has matured as an actor. I liked Nikita Dutta as Abhishek's wife but she has been shown young throughout the time, when Abhishek was shown growing old . Supriya Pathak has been wasted. Ram Kapur and Mahesh Manjrekar have nothing much to do . Sohum Shah as the younger brother is the character, who would impress you. Overall, I would recommend mxplayer anytime over Hotstar, if you wish to understand one of the unforgettable event of 1990's . Sorry Mr. Ajay Devgun ( Producer) , you may not be able to recover your cost .

If this story of Harshad Mehta was released before Scam 1992, it would have been a hit. Scam 1992 is in detail with actual names whereas The Big Bull is a comprehensive similar story with not real names.
1) Pratik Gandhi and Abhishek Bachchan have done justice to their roles as are Shreya Dhanwantari and Ileana D'Cruz.

It might be a Hit if it was released before Scam 1992 Web Series.
It Looks dull infront of Scam 1992.
Scam 1992 is Technical. But This Movie is not Technical , It focuses on Cinematic.
My suggestion is If you have already watched Scam 1992 Don't watch this.
