I'm happy about Reap because it managed to completely surprise me. The story follows a woman returning home in the dark. The film builds suspense slowly, and after a while, I even started wondering how the horror element would be introduced in such a short runtime. But then everything turned upside down, and it didn't go at all the way I expected - kudos for that! In the end, many questions are left unanswered, leaving room for the viewer's imagination to fill in the blanks. All in all, this is a refreshing film that offers a more grounded, perhaps even more realistic, type of horror instead of relying on the usual jump scares.
