Prawaas is the journey of an elderly couple Abhijat Inamdar (Ashok Saraf) and Lata Inamdar (Padmini Kolhapure). Every person has a certain time to live in this world and it's important to understand how one lives his life. Abhijat also knows that he has a certain time to live his life and nobody is immortal. He realizes that there are so many people who need help and he starts helping them in their problems which gives him confidence in himself, a great sense of satisfaction and very unique identity. Abhijat teaches us a very important lesson that there are two most important days in our life, one the day we are born and the next when we find why? when you help others and live your life meaningfully you will be the happiest person on the earth. In the journey of life, we forget to live our lives and become negative. But the moment we realize the correct way to live our life we start enjoying it.The film beautifully conveys to people that whatever is left in their life is something very special.

    One of the best movies of recent times.

    One of the best movies seen after a long time. A very good family entertainer built on a strong story line. The movie can be watched for a second time. Acting by Ashok Saraf and Padmini Kolhapure is superb and very much commendable.

    What a journey!!

    I'm not a regular movie critic but today after having seen this 'Journey' with the brilliant cast to sail through with I couldn't stop myself from sharing what I felt

    A beautiful depiction of a middle aged man battling health issues himself and his transformation into one who lives for others is very emotionally put forward by the director

    Je shesh aahe te vishesh aahe sums it all up

    Hats off to Ashok Saraf ji...you are outstanding sir..brilliant Dialogues and screenplay is sharp and carry the narration forward beautifully

    Something special!

    Really a movie which needs to remember. I don't remember when the last time I got emotional while watching any movie. This movie made me emotionally cry.

    Brilliant

    What a superb story, script, direction, songs and performances!! Simply a must watch movie for all ages. The movie captivates You right from its first shot and binds to the seats until the movie ends. Ashok Saraf's agonising mental state of a retired person to a passionate dream chasing person is truly a treat to watch. Padmini Kolhapure has perfectly exhibited her dilemmatic mental state by first resisting and later supporting her husband who is determined to pursue a noble cause. Hats off to Actor and Director Shashank Udapurkar for giving us a truly master entertainer in Marathi. Don't miss.
