Surprisingly Well Done
I know that even the best movie ever will not satisfy everyone.... And I usually do not have time to rate and review movies but I have to say that this movie pleasantly surprised me. When my husband suggested the movie for a Friday Night Family Movie, I had very low expectations. But, the characters and the movie pulled me in the entire time...I will also admit I tend to like movies that others may consider cheesy but I watch them for the takeaway message(s) ! "Treasure Lies" was sobering, edifying and comforting as forgiveness, integrity, deliverance from avarice, and unconditional love themes provided lesson templates to reflect upon long after the movie ended. Great Work! I look forward to more material in the future!
UNEXPECTED ENDING....
It's very rare that I can't predict the end of a movie. I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I started watching it, telling myself I would give it a few minutes...1 hour and forty something minutes later I reached the end of this very good movie. It was a GREAT movie and God spoke to me through it. Watched it again the next night with my wife and kids, my 7 year old daughter absolutely loved it, but so did my wife and the other kids. I highly recommend this movie!!!
Great movie!
Funny, thought provoking, thoroughly entertaining. The actors were engaging. Can't wait to get family together and watch it again.

Good movie, ignore the hater reviews
I saw a couple angry reviews, which I don't really understand. So I will preface this by saying that I am not related to, or friends with anyone connected to this film.
This movie has a great underlying message. The movie is funny and it kept my attention. It is a family-friendly movie and it doesn't take the Lord's name in vain, so that's great!
Essentially, the main character gets his hand on a winning lottery ticket, but unfortunately he lets money change his outlook on life.

Surprisingly Good
We dumped all of our streaming services because of the increasing amount of crap and agendas being pushed out there. Our alternatives are few and admittedly PureFlix is kind of a weak alternative. Most of the movies are cheesy and low budget. This one is slightly low budget and the acting isn't top quality - and so I wasn't expecting much. However, the plot has multiple levels and even when I thought it was going a direction that would have left a TON of plot holes, it rescued itself. There are several situations that might pull on your heartstrings if you're not too calloused.
Admittedly this is for a Christian audience and so a lot of people might be annoyed by how clean it is and that there is a Biblical message - I for one find it to be a breath of fresh air when movies these days are plenty preachy with all kinds of other ideals.
I do wish the resolve of the plot went a little different but there is a twist in there I didn't see coming and that is worth a ton when one of my biggest complaints about PureFlix-type movies is there ridiculous predictability.
