We dumped all of our streaming services because of the increasing amount of crap and agendas being pushed out there. Our alternatives are few and admittedly PureFlix is kind of a weak alternative. Most of the movies are cheesy and low budget. This one is slightly low budget and the acting isn't top quality - and so I wasn't expecting much. However, the plot has multiple levels and even when I thought it was going a direction that would have left a TON of plot holes, it rescued itself. There are several situations that might pull on your heartstrings if you're not too calloused.
Admittedly this is for a Christian audience and so a lot of people might be annoyed by how clean it is and that there is a Biblical message - I for one find it to be a breath of fresh air when movies these days are plenty preachy with all kinds of other ideals.
I do wish the resolve of the plot went a little different but there is a twist in there I didn't see coming and that is worth a ton when one of my biggest complaints about PureFlix-type movies is there ridiculous predictability.
