David Tennant and Cush Jumbo in Deadwater Fell (2020)

Trivia

Deadwater Fell

Edit
The story is fictional, however Writer and Creator, Daisy Coulam, said: "We had a forensic criminal psychologist to advise us on the story and she pulled together a number of examples for us and explained the behaviours and character traits of people that commit such crimes. So, it draws on true themes and a lot of research, but we've totally created our own story".
This was David Tennant's first Executive Producer credit.
Filmed in Kilbarchan, Renfrewshire, June 2019.
For the family day out at the beach, filming took place on Culzean Beach, located within Culzean Country Park in Ayrshire. The beach is also home to Culzean Castle, which was constructed in the late 1700s, and appears in the classic 1973 horror film "The Wicker Man".
When filming took place in Kilbarchan and Dunlop, several locals appeared on the show as extras, including at the party scene in the first episode which features a local Ceilidh band.
