Half of the film was animated and edited in a very poor performing computer.
The combine soldier's "kick" was inspired by an admin tool in Garry's Mod (2004), where player's who were punished (for breaking the server rules, etc.) were kicked across the map.
In this film, Niko Bellic pulls out a phone and spawns a motorcycle for Luigi to use. In Grand Theft Auto IV (2008), players can enter a cheat code in their phone to spawn vehicles.
Luigi's stunt double was shot to a bloody pulp while intense filming of this movie.
