This is way better than the first movie! You got excellent songs, excellent characters, and an excellent story!

The soundtrack is good, also the effects and choreography but the plot, not that much. For me, It was kinda rushed and it went into so many directions. The first movie is still decent tho.

Zombies 2 is the sequel to the 2018 film of the same name and this time werewolves have joined the squad and want to be accepted just like the zombies. Meanwhile Addison and Zed are trying to maintain their relationship as Addison discovers that she could be more than a normal teen? Could she be a werewolf?
If you seen the 1st one you may like it.

There is a better acceptance of zombies in Seabrook. Out of nowhere, werewolves are found. They lay claim to the energy source they call the moonstone. Addison (Meg Donnelly) believes that she's a werewolf and Zed (Milo Manheim) is concerned.
I guess the vampires are coming next. I wasn't expecting much from this franchise. I'm not sure if werewolves is the way to go here. I would rather that they work out with the starting premise instead of adding extra stuff. I do like the energetic musical performances. I like these actors. It's a Disney musical. It is what it is.

Absolutely loved the concepts and ideas introduced in Zombies 2 . Lots of new characters and songs and sets and dancing . Really fun film for kids , absolutely loved the fact it was released on Valentine's Day . So much creativity and fun bundled in one film . Highly recommend! Great messages about inclusion and diversity to be shared here as well.

Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 2 (2020) is an ok sequel to Z-O-M-B-I-E-S (2018). I thought the first movie was a fine Disney Channel original movie that had good acting, good songs, good main characters, and dance choreography.
My thoughts on Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 2 (2020) are the same as my thoughts on Z-O-M-B-I-E-S (2018). The acting is still good like Milo Manheim as Zed and Meg Donnelly, but the werewolves in the movie are a bit over the top.
The songs are fun to listen to and there's fun dance choreography. The main issue is the focus, because it goes from Zed wanting to be school president to Addison trying to figure out who she is with the werewolves. It goes back and forth between those until the end.
Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 2 is shorter than Z-O-M-B-I-E-S (2018), so this movie is a quick watch. If you liked the first movie, then you might like the sequel to it.

Better than the first in all the most important ways (choreography, songs, plot, themes). However, if this gets ANY "woke" credit when Descendants 3 does the same thing SO much better, I'm gonna lose all my chill.

This is a terrible film, with non-blondes and over excited america actors.
My little girls loves it and the music but I cringe at the crap acting when I'm asked to put this on the TV.

Zed and Addison are back at Seabrook High where, after a groundbreaking semester, they continue to lead the school and community toward equality. But the arrival of a new group of strange and mysterious werewolves threatens to shatter the newly formed peace between humans and zombies, putting Zed and Addison's romance in jeopardy.
Then, I love zombies, but here they pushed too hard, let's see Rosa too, especially Rosa, but the film is very bad, I left it to those moments of total boredom making a more boring process so as not to arrest the film, which would be impossible because he it's very detached, weak, childlike with a teenager's face, at least it has a very cute message about respecting differences... And there's still the third...

Reality check: If the script's message is promoting acceptance using Zombies & Werewolves while in reality people die for much less shows a lack of understanding.
Storyline: Most of the movie consists of cheer style competition between humans, zombies, wolves. Unfortunately not much time was spent producing memorable songs (lyrics mostly relatable to middle schoolers) or dance choreography (mostly consisting of swinging your arms & legs side to side; sometimes bending forward). Most of the production time & money was spent on makeup & hair styling.
Conclusion: Low intelligence level dialogue; cliche script; cheaply produced. Resulting in more dumbing down by Disney for money.

Story lines with a heart, an unusual combination of zombies and musicals continue to rock, I love it, if you liked the first one you will love this one as well.

I'm a woman and I watched this movie finally while I was randomly scrolling through channels on the TV., and didn't think I could watch the movie as it was too "childish". But boy, these guys have presented it so beautifully! 10/10 from me, a fan of the Disney channel original movies . This reminded me a bit of the twilight series except with zombies and Disney magic of course!

I love the first movie a lot! So, naturally I was extremely excited because of how amazing Descendants 3 was. And seeing the trailer got me more excited. Now, after seeing it, I can say it was below average. The story was underdeveloped. There wasn't really any Zed or Addison until the end. Which you would think they would be on screen together more since they are a couple in the movie. The acting was very good though. I enjoyed Milo and Meg's performance. I loved the new characters! The directing of this movie was really professional which shocked me for it being a Disney Channel movie. The music was fantastic and made the movie come to life since it was so dull. Overall I just feel like it needed more work or should have been a short.

I was honestly not surprised that Disney Channel would make a franchise of movies they made. And with this sequel, they have officially ran out of ideas judging how a mess it turned out to be. Zombies 2 is easily one of the worst sequels Disney Channel has made. What goes down milking the first movie so bad was to completely be exactly like the first film but make the story even lazy. In addition, it would make the characters blander as ever. What else has not made the movie any different is, as much the movie tries to look cinematic, the visuals are weak and the costumes look nothing like zombies or wolves. And finally, what has been the big problem with the first film that's the exact same in this one. As a musical. It never bothered to do anything interesting in any of the songs. All the soundtrack does is it's more of pop songs you hear on the radio a million times already than being legitimately a movie soundtrack. And these moments happen every 5-10 minutes that it gets tiring. Unless if you actually liked the first film, this is not for you. I would've forgive this if Disney Channel made a movie that's just about werewolves instead. But as an unneeded sequel, it's nothing more describable but a film that's better off to stay dead.

Disney really blew it this time with their sequel of zombies. in the original the zombies and the towns people were played by all different races and in this version although the zombies in towns people are still all different races Disney uses all black actors and actresses to play werewolves. not cool Disney. This is not the first time for Disney to have their inclusivity get in the way of the story. Disney's liberal doctrine has come into play in most of its productions and is also now starting to show up in programming and movies that they acquired with their purchase of 20th Century Fox . Disney is getting too big and getting its fingers into too many different formats and businesses.

This is everything I could have hoped for in a sequel. The biggest thing I would complain about is the short run time! I would have liked to see more of Zed and Addison's relationship but they did get a good deal of character development regardless. The werewolves were a welcome addition - especially Wyatt, who I found to be the most compelling of the three. I hope they will continue to be in the series if more movies are made. I like how there are a range of music genres in this movie and how the dance numbers have been taken up a level and are even more exciting/complex - really showing off the talent of the cast.

If you are older than 16 this is probably not for you. Its very Disney/american/teen oriented musical that has little or nothin to do with werewolves and zombies. The music is not too bad but it isn't good either. I wouldn't listen to it on the radio.
