The original Wheel of Fortune set that was used in the 90s was lost, so the entire set had to be rebuilt from scratch. It turned out that the original set was sold in 2002 after the production company behind the Belgian version of Wheel of Forture filed for bankruptcy.
The show contains lots of references to actual '90s VTM shows, such as Rad van fortuin (1989), 10 om te zien (1989), Videodinges (1990), Jambers (1992), etc...
The sketches featured in the series were bundled in a 2 episode mini-series called "Studio Tarara: De Sketchshow".
