Rory Gallagher in Rory Gallagher: Irish Tour '74 (1974)

Trivia

Rory Gallagher: Irish Tour '74

Edit
Filmed at the height of The Troubles in Northern Ireland, when virtually no touring musicians would play in Belfast for fear of being injured or killed in terrorist attacks. Throughout the filming in Belfast, a group of officers from the Special Branch of the Royal Ulster Constabulary discreetly protected the crew.
Crowley's Music Centre in Cork, which Gallagher visits in the film, is the same shop that sold him his famous Fender Stratocaster in the mid-1960s.
Despite being asked by director Tony Palmer, Rory Gallagher declined to wear a consistent wardrobe throughout the tour. Consequently, there are numerous moments in the film when Gallagher appears to change clothes over the course of playing a single song.
None of the songs performed in the film are identified, and there are no music credits listed at the end. The songs played by Rory Gallagher in concert are, in order: "Walk on Hot Coals," "Tattoo'd Lady," "Who's That Coming," "A Million Miles Away," "Goin' to My Home Town," "Cradle Rock," "As the Crow Flies," "Hands Off," and "Bullfrog Blues." Gallagher is briefly seen singing "Just a Little Bit" at the after-hours acoustic session.
