Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, much of the filming was relocated from Canada to Georgia with the state doubling as 1986 Vancouver and Ottawa.
During an interview with Collider, Allan Ungar revealed that he and Kraig Wenman wrote a letter to Boy George and his team for the use of the song "Karma Chameleon." George got such a kick out of it that he was also open to writing an original song for the end credits but unfortunately there wasn't enough time
Nestor Carbonell tore his Achilles tendon early on in production. Instead of going back to Los Angeles for surgery, he stayed for the remainder of the film with the help of a walking boot and finished all of his scenes.
During the interrogation scene Robert, played by Josh Duhamel mentions the use of eyeliner to Snydes, played by Nestor Carbonell. The pigmentation around his eyes is real and natural and has been something of a topic that Carbonell has had to address ever since he gained nationwide recognition from Lost (2004).
