In the scene where Edward's car pulls into the driveway at the ranch, he was supposed to drive around to where the guys were brutalizing Theo. However, when the car crossed the dip at the entry, the muffler dragged off and the car died. The scene was modified to have Edward walk up on the group and film from the bushes. If the car had not died, the scene would have been him finding the incident with his headlights and speeding away. He was supposed to get lost on the property backroads before Aevol attacked him. One Muffler changed the whole scene.
