A copy of this film survives at Eastman House in Rochester, New York.
In the 1920s, a German circus acrobat named Otto Witte (1872-1958) became famous for claiming to have impersonated a member of the Ottoman Imperial Family and ruled as King of Albania for 5 days in 1913. His story has been objectively disproved, and it appears that he crafted it by copying the plot of this movie, which came out in the year of his supposed royalty.
