    • Trivia
A brief fragment of this film, running about five minutes, exists in the National Film Archive of Japan. The sequence involves Azalea (played by Madge Bellamy) washing her underclothes in a lake, while Mandy (ZaSu Pitts) watches, hugging a tree. Sam (Leslie Fenton) shows up, sees Azalea, and warns her that she is near quicksand. When she ignores him, he swims out to rescue her. Once he has done so, they kiss. Sam departs. Joe Givens (Arthur Housman) then arrives, and makes a pass at Azalea, but she strikes him.
