Theda Bara, Tyler Brooke, and James Finlayson in Madame Mystery (1926)

Trivia

Madame Mystery

Edit
This film has long been available in a poor quality, one-reel edition. But a complete, two-reel version survives in the 16mm format.
Madame Mystery was the last film of Theda Bara's career.
According to The Kinematograph Year Book (1927), a feature length version of this film, running 4370 ft., was trade shown in London on 15 September 1926 and released in UK by Ideal Films Ltd. on 25 April 1927.
There exists a one-reel version of this film running approximately ten minutes, making it one of the very few Theda Bara films to survive the silent era, even in fragmented form.
Madame Mystery (1926) was never a feature film. The full, 25 minutes version is easily available.
