- Radio Announcer: Tell me, Jerry - how many days are you gonna chop off the record?
- Jerry Patton: ... You'd better ask Pal.
- Radio Announcer: Stand by, folks - Jerry's co-pilot is going to answer that question himself... You tell 'em, Pal.
- Pal: [barks twice]
- Jerry Patton: Two days, huh? I hope you know what you're talking about.
- The Boy at Airport: [stroking his own dog] When *you* grow up, I'll take *you* on an around-the-world flight.
- Frank Courtney: [to Pal] You don't have to be afraid of me - they're huntin' me, too. Guess you and me'll have to stick together.
- [first lines]
- Title card: This is the story of a boy, a dog and a man.
- Radio Announcer: On his flight around the world, Jerry Patton's sole companion will be his dog, Pal, who has shared the dangers of many other adventures undertaken by his famous master.
- Bob Whitlock: I'm figuring to give my invention to the government. Think what it will mean to our country to be absolutely safe from enemy attacks. As long as airplanes, battleships and submarines use oil and gasoline, my lightning ray can blow them to pieces.
- Mrs. Stevens: Oh, but I can't stand for the way Joe treats you. Someday he'll kill you, Frank; you must get away from here - now, before he comes back.
- Frank Courtney: What, and leave you? I can't do that.
- Mrs. Stevens: You don't understand. If anything happens to you, it'll be my fault.
- Frank Courtney: Your fault?
- Mrs. Stevens: Frank, you know I love you, don't you?
- Frank Courtney: Why, yes, mother.
- Frank Courtney: You mustn't call me that anymore.
- Frank Courtney: Why?
- Mrs. Stevens: I'm not your mother.
- Bob Whitlock: I invented this machine to make the country safe against invasion, and I'm not gonna let you use it for purposes of destruction.
- Jim Courtney: I'm through hiding.
- Irene Courtney: But can't you understand? If anything happens to Frank, and you're found here, you'll be blamed for it.
- Jim Courtney: I can't help that. If another attempt is made on his life, I want to be where I can help him. I should be the one to take care of him. After all, I'm his uncle.
- Mason: What good'll it do to me to talk now?
- Bob Whitlock: It may mean your life. All I want is the name of the big boss. Help me get him, and I'll make it easy for you.
- Mason: You're right. I'll be a fool to hang for him! I'll tell you who he is.
- [Mason is shot in the back]
- [last lines]
- Bob Whitlock: You sent for me, Mr. Courtney?
- Jim Courtney: Yes. I'm sorry to tell you, Whitlock, that we've given another man your job.
- Irene Courtney: Why, Dad!
- Jim Courtney: You see, there's been a request for your services from the government. They've accepted your invention, and want you to build it for them. When they can spare you, I'm going to propose your name to the board of directors as my assistant.
- Frank Courtney: I'll vote for ya!
- Irene Courtney: [displaying engagement ring] I've already cast my vote.
