The film was shot (in Pisorno studios in Tirrenia, Tuscany) with Italian and French actors, all appearing in both versions; except for Gilbert Gil and Giorgio Capecchi who both appeared in the role of 'Pierrot' in the French and Italian versions respectively.
The French version was released in France in 1937. Because the film was not initially granted a certificate by the censors, it was only released in Italy (as "Ladro di donne") in September 1938.
Shot in 1936.
Final film of Princesse Kandou.
