- Longhorn Pete: [after shooting the men he was playing poker with] There's room for three more poker players. How about you?
- Wild Bill Hicup: Reckon we can accommodate you. Be right in.

- Wild Bill Hicup: We'll do the playing, you do the watching. Maybe we can get some information.
- Buffalo Bilious: And easy money, too.
- Wild Bill Hicup: Yeah. Got your special deck of cards?
- Buffalo Bilious: Soitenly.
- Wild Bill Hicup: We won't need 'em.
- Wild Bill Hicup: [trying to stall Pete until the cavalry arrives] How about a little credit, Pete, 'til our reserves get here?
- Longhorn Pete: Oh, I guess you're good for 25.
- Buffalo Bilious: Soitenly. They'll probably send more than that.
