Matt Moore, Owen Moore, and Tom Moore in Side Street (1929)

Trivia

Side Street

Edit
The first film to star Tom Moore, Matt Moore, and Owen Moore together, who were brothers who had all achieved stardom separately in silent films.
Oldest surviving film of George Raft. His previous two pictures, Queen of the Night Clubs (1929) and Gold Diggers of Broadway (1929) are considered "lost" as only small portions of each are known to exist as of 2024.
Owen Moore (Dennis O'Farrell) and Katherine Perry (Kathleen Doyle) were married in real life, while in the movie she plays the fiancé of Owen's real-life/screen brother Tom Moore (Jimmy O'Farrell).
The $5,000 to be given to a gangster's widow equates to about $91,200 in 2024.
In July 1929, it was announced that a sound version as well as a silent version of the movie would be released. Press of the era reveal that this did in fact take place. Each version would be separately registered with the U.S. Copyright Office.
