The 10 sound discs for the film and trailer survive in the UCLA Film and Television Archives.
The film had a very negative reception in Ireland for its perceived stereotypical depiction of the country. In an anecdote recounted in the book "Cinema and Ireland", a group of Dublin actors and students, including a young Cyril Cusack, held protests at screenings that eventually led to it being pulled.
The film is currently listed as lost.
In September 1928, Warner Bros. Pictures purchased a majority interest
in First National Pictures and from that point on, all "First National" productions were actually made under Warner Bros. control, even though the two companies continued to retain separate identities until the mid-1930's, after which time "A Warner Bros.-First National Picture" was often used.
