Publicly released just 3 days prior to the attack on Pearl Harbor which took place on December 7th, 1941.
When the Stooges enter the raft before the short ends, you can tell that Curly's jungle costume was switched from tiger to jaguar.

In the scene wirh the aligator, a bandage is on curly's right elbow can clearly be seen.
In this short, Curly tries to pack a land line phone into a suitcase. When asked why he replies "in case we get a call while we're gone." To which Moe calls him an imbecile. This scene foreshadows the concept of a cell phone, approximately 30 years before the first one was made by Motorola in 1973.
