Bandit Ranger

Edit
This was the first of six movies hurriedly made by RKO between May 1942 and July 1942, before 'Tim Holt' went into military service.
This film's earliest documented telecasts took place in Philadelphia Sunday 22 July 1956 on WFIL (Channel 6), in Altoona Saturday 1 September 1956 on WFBG (Channel 10, in New York City Sunday 23 September 1956 on WOR (Channel 9), in Los Angeles Saturday 29 September 1956 on KHJ (Channel 9), in Wilkes-Barre Monday 15 October 1956 on WILK (Channel 34), in New Haven Sunday 4 November 1956 on WNHC (Channel 8), and in Pittsburgh Sunday 17 November 1956 on KDKA (Channel 2).
Ike's instrument is actually a tenor guitar, a slightly smaller version of a standard acoustic guitar, having four strings instead of six. The instrument was originally developed in order to make it easier to play for 4-string banjo players.
