Based on a play by Dorothy Mackaye about her experience serving a sentence for obstruction in the case of her lover Paul Kelly's manslaughter conviction for killing her husband Ray Raymond in a fight over her in 1927.
The $40,000 taken in the bank robbery would equate to nearly $650,000 in 2019.
During interrogation, the suspect was denied her request for counsell.
