Jimmy Durante Buzzard: I'm starving. No food in months. It's discouraging, that's what it is. Why, I ain't eaten in so long, even my stomach is talking back to me. Listen.
Stomach: [echoing] Send down one hamburger, everything on it!
Jimmy Durante Buzzard: You see what I mean? Hey, Joe, when's the last time you ate?
Joe Buzzard: Are you kidding?
[opens mouth; it has cobwebs and a sign that reads, "Closed for the Duration"]

Jimmy Durante Buzzard: Hey, Joe. What are you trying to do, eat me?
Joe Buzzard: Nah, pal. I was only kidding. I couldn't eat you even if I wanted to, on account of this bad tooth I got. Here, take a look at this cavity. right there, way in the back. See? Way in the back.
Jimmy Durante Buzzard: [sticks head into Joe's mouth] I don't see nothing, Joe.
[Joe bites down; Jimmy looks as if he's headless, but head soon pops back out]
Jimmy Durante Buzzard: What a repulsive way to make a living!

Jimmy Durante Buzzard: Hey, Joe. I can't do it. I'm all washed up. One of us has got to die, then it might as well be me.
[gives Joe a cleaver and puts head in chopping block]
Jimmy Durante Buzzard: Okay, Joe. Go ahead. You can kill me.
[Joe strikes with cleaver; Jimmy retracts head]
Jimmy Durante Buzzard: You know, Joe? I believe you would, too.

Joe Buzzard: [sees Jimmy Buzzard acting like a rattlesnake] A snake! *turns green and faints*
Joe Buzzard: [to the audience] Look at him! He's even a-scared of a snake! *laughs*
Jimmy Durante Buzzard Scream: [sees a real rattlesnake] *gasps!*
Jimmy Durante Buzzard: [turns green and faints] And so am I. *resumes fainting*
