FAQ

Hare Force

    Merrie Melodies

Well, not Sylvester the cat. This features a dog named Sylvester.

No. This Granny (voiced by an uncredited Bea Benaderet) is thin and has an aquiline nose. Tweety's mistress (voiced by June Foray and sometimes Benaderet) is pudgy in body and face.

With a knife, a cannon and an axe.

    Hare Force (1944) (1944)

Bugs Bunny says, "Quick! In here! Hide in here!" to Sylvester the dog. The dog tries to run into the closet whose door Bugs has open for him. But Bugs changes his mind at the last second and slams the door in the dog's face. "Quick! In here! Quick!" he says as he pulls out the ironing board in the wall. He changes his mind again as he drops the board on the dog's head.

    Bugs and Thugs (1954) (1954)

The police are coming. Bugs Bunny cries, "Quick! Hide in here!" Bugsy and Mugsy run into the gas stove. Guess who lights a match?

Some TV prints cut out Bugs's line, "It's the hot seat for you!"
