Most TV prints of this cartoon cut out the scene near the end of the cartoon where the cause of the Russian Dog's death (which is either by Bugs Bunny giving the dog a gun to commit suicide or by Bugs shooting the dog himself with the gun) is shown. In the edited print, there is an abrupt cut from Bugs saying "Do you mean it?" to the dog laying dead on the ground, thus leaving no explanation to why the dog died (though the ending where Bugs lets the dog commit suicide was shown on some TV prints, while the other ending was NEVER shown on TV, and due to its violence, most likely never will be).
