The Clock Watcher (1945)

Trivia

The Clock Watcher

Edit
This cartoon short was included in the 1983 Disney Channel TV special "A Disney Christmas Gift" but had parts of the show edited and shorten due to time constraints and the message the show was trying to bring on Christmas.
The sound effect used for the Jack-in-the-box in Donald Duck "The Clock Watcher" 1945, is also used in the 1994 Living Books PC game "Little Monster at School" when on page 17, the player can click on the school roof, the roof changes color and uses the exact same sound effect that this cartoon uses.
Despite not being overtly connected to Christmas/winter, this short is often included in holiday themed collections due to gift wrapping being such a big part of the plot.
This is the only Donald Duck cartoon to feature Donald Duck wearing Jack in the box accordion clown costume with the ruffle and night cap during the clothes switching scene, right after Jack in the box stole Donald's blue shirt and hat. Since then, Donald hasn't been seeing in this costume since.
This is the only Donald Duck cartoon where Donald's head transforms into a wolf head when he whistles at the mannequin woman statue.
