Re-titled and edited down to less than 30 minutes, it was sold to television in the early 1950s as part of a syndicated half-hour package; it had previously been on the air for several years in its complete original version, premiering on one of New York's pioneer television stations, WCBS (Channel 2) Saturday 18 October 1947.
Shot in 1944, not released until 1945.
