This is featured in the Swedish version of From All of Us to All of You! (1958), which is shown on TV every Christmas Eve.
The pleasant, wordless type of song the birds are doing is called humming, leading to a stealth pun as Donald exclaims "Hummingbirds!"
In the opening intro, they used the early 40's Mickey Mouse theme, but in reissued releases, they replaced it with the Donald Duck song (No one but Donald Duck). The reason why they used the Mickey Mouse theme was that the Donald Duck song was not finished yet, it would not be used until Donald's Dilemma.
This is the only Donald Duck cartoon to feature the Aracuan Bird.
The Aracuan Bird's crying sound is similar to a minion's cry from the Despicable Me franchise.
