This film short is available as a bonus on the Warner DVD of The Roaring Twenties (1939). It also appeared on the MGM LaserDisc of Angels with Dirty Faces (1938).
The main bank-robber, "Ed. G. Robemsome" is a parody of Edward G. Robinson, star of classic 30's gangster movies like Little Caesar (1931) and The Last Gangster (1937).
"Flat-Foot Flanigan with a Floy Floy," is a take off on the 1938 jazz song "Flat Foot Floogie (With a Floy Floy)" performed by Gaillard and Stewart as "Slim and Slam."
