Claude Rains and Miriam Hopkins in Lady with Red Hair (1940)

Trivia

Lady with Red Hair

Edit
Louis Payne, the husband of Mrs. Leslie Carter in real life, coached Richard Ainley, who was playing him in the movie.
Miriam Hopkins played the lead role in "Becky Sharp" (1935), in which the real Mrs. Leslie Carter had an uncredited role of "Woman."
David Belasco was the inspiration for the Oscar Jaffe character in "Twentieth Century." As such, there are some plot similarities between the two films, though this one is not a comedy.
This film's earliest documented telecast took place in Tucson Thursday 9 August 1956 on KDWI (Channel 9); it first aired in Boston Wednesday 24 October 1956 on WBZ (Channel 4), in Sacramento CA Wednesday 14 November 1956 on KCRA (Channel 3), in Cincinnati Tuesday 4 December 1956 on WKRC (Channel 12), in Indianapolis Wednesday 2 January 1957 on WISH (Channel 8), and in Phoenix Thursday 31 January 1957 on KVAR (Channel 12).
