Jeff's father forbids any marriage between him and Ann, but Ann announces that she would never marry such a stuffed shirt and spineless jellyfish anyway. Ann decides to lspend the evening at the lodge instead of her cabin. Since it's after hours and there's no transportation, she intends to ski the half-mile to the lodge, but she can't figure out how to put on the skis. David helps her, but then she can't figure out how to stand up in them. As Ann throws yet another hissyfit, David bends over and kisses her. "Oh, David! Oh...David! Oooooh, David.!"
