Two episodes featured the final work for character actor Houseley Stevenson. Both episodes were broadcast posthumously.
Cavalcade of America started out as programs illustrating moments of American history. Then it morphed into DuPont Cavalcade and the stories moved out the history mode. Then it changed to DuPont Theater and filmed at Desilu becoming a true anthology.
