The only film to feature all 4 members of the Goons as a team.
It is unclear why Peter Sellers character is credited as Colonel Bloodnok, when he was always a Major in "The Goons" radio show.
Andrew Timothy was the regular announcer on earlier editions of The Goons' radio show, replaced by Wallace Greenslade.
Part of the reason for the film's disjointed and amateur look is that it had to be filmed in a hurry due to the tiny budget. It's believed the whole film was shot in one week using 'borrowed'' sets and costumes from other Productions. There was no time for rehearsals and most scenes were only shot once.
