Haman interest stories suggested by the events that make newspaper headlines, told by Hal Burdick as the "night editor," sitting at a desk in a typical newspaper office setting. Burdick tells the stories straight, with no actors or other re-creation beyond the
art of direct story telling. A 16mm film series, with the same name, star and writer, was produced during the fall of 1952 for Kaiser -Frazer auto dealers' sponsorship in several major cities. It made its New York debut over WABD on Sept 12, 1952. The series began broadcasting live beginning March 14, 1954. The final broadcast was on 8 September 1954.
No recordings of this series are known to survive.
