Railway Platform

Edit
Legendary actor Sunil Dutt's debut movie.
Director Ramesh Saigal was impressed with Sunil Dutt's good looks and voice. He gave opportunity to Dutt for acting. But at first, Dutt was nervous before the camera, especially in romantic scenes. He had never mixed freely with girls. His worst moment came when Saigal got furious and scolded him. In fact, the scenes were shot several times before Dutt got it right. Deeply embarrassed, Dutt resolved that if he ever directed a film, he would be more sensitive to his actor's feelings.
The film was critically praised and did well at the box office. But couldn't benefited Sunil Dutt that much.
Director Ramesh Saigal convinced Sunil Dutt for acting in other movies. Later, Sunil Dutt acted in low budget films but B.R. Chopra was also impressed with Dutt's personality and offered him a role in Ek Hi Rasta (1956) and Sadhna (1958) which were superhit.
