Anastasia: The Czar's Last Daughter (1956)

Trivia

Anastasia: The Czar's Last Daughter

Edit
Ivan Desny, who appears here as the real-life Gleb Botkin (son of the Imperial family's doctor, who was shot along with them in 1918), also appears as the fictional Prince Paul Von Haraldsberg in the Ingrid Bergman film "Anastasia."
West German censorship visa # 12837 delivered on 4_9_1956.
The same year, 1956, 20th-Century Fox released "Anastasia," starring Ingrid Bergman. Adapted from Marcelle Maurette's play of the same name, it is highly romanticized, and doesn't come close to this film in accurately recounting the Anna Anderson story. It was the Fox film, of course, which received the wider distribution.
Final film of Lucie Höflich.
The character portrayed by Adelheid Seeck - Princess Irene of Prussia - was one of the last of the foreign relations of the Romanovs to see the real Grand Duchess Anastasia. A sister of the Empress Alexandra, she had visited the family in 1913.
