ironically, Ken Utsui hated this role and was embarrassed by the costume he was forced to wear, which was padded between the legs to attract female viewers of the day. He never discussed portraying Super Giant until the day he died in 2014.
In the Italian dubbed version of the movie, Super Giant (which is Starman in USA films), is renamed as Spaceman.
