June Haver and Lon McCallister in Scudda Hoo! Scudda Hay! (1948)

Trivia

Scudda Hoo! Scudda Hay!

Edit
This is generally considered to be Marilyn Monroe's screen debut, although most of her footage was cut. She is visible just for a fleeting second or less as she descends the church steps and says, "Hi, Rad," to June Haver's character as everyone is coming out of church on Sunday morning.
In the movie Driving Miss Daisy (1989), "Scudda Hoo! Scudda Hay!" is featured on the theater marquee next to the Piggly Wiggly grocery store.
Marilyn Monroe's only line that remains in the movie was to June Haver. They meet again three years later in "Love Nest" (1951), in which Monroe has a much bigger role.
"Scudda Hoo" and "Scudda Hay" are the commands which mean "Gee" and "Haw", teamsters' commands for "right" and "left."
"Lux Radio Theater" broadcast a 60 minute radio adaptation of the movie on October 24, 1949 with June Haver and Lon McCallister reprising their film roles.
