Jack Benny in The Jack Benny Program (1950)

Trivia

The Jack Benny Program

Edit
Most of Jack Benny's original radio cast appeared on television with him, including Don Wilson, Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson, Dennis Day, and his real-life wife Mary Livingstone made several guest appearances. In one episode, Jack dreamed that he and Mary (his platonic friend on the show) were married and had a teenage daughter. Their daughter was played by their real daughter, Joan Benny.
A 1952 spoof of Gaslight (1944), Autolight (1959) co-starring Barbara Stanwyck, proved to be so popular that Jack Benny wanted to rebroadcast it. Legal wrangling with MGM resulted in this not happening until 1959.
Marilyn Monroe's first television appearance was on Bob Crosby's Contract (1952).
Theme song is a standard violin étude written by Konradin Kreutzer. It's the second one in the famous Kreutzer book.
Johnny Carson Guest (1963) featured Johnny Carson about a year after he began hosting The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson (1962). Johnny revealed he was an usher in the same studio for this show 12 years prior, and learned to imitate Jack's style during that time.
