Leo Gorcey, Huntz Hall, and Adele Jergens in Blues Busters (1950)

Trivia

Blues Busters

Edit
The song "Let's Have a Heart to Heart Talk" - apparently sung by Huntz Hall - was actually dubbed by John Laurenz (1909 - 1958).
Gabriel Dell's final film with The Bowery Boys. He was also a member of the Dead End Kids and the East Side Kids.
Louie, the bombastic owner of the Bowery Palace nightclub, is played by Bernard Gorcey, father of Bowery Boys lead actor Leo Gorcey. The two Gorceys frequently appeared in films together, until Bernard died as the result of injuries sustained in a 1955 automobile accident. Overcome with grief, Leo walked away from the Bowery Boys franchise after appearing in several dozen films as group leader "Slip."
A prop newspaper shown in the film contains a story with the headline "Mercury New X-ray Source, Two Scientists Report." This same story appears in many movies and TV shows with newspaper close-up scenes. In real life it originally appeared in newspapers in 1934.
A contemporary article in The Hollywood Reporter credits Robert Carroll for dubbing the singing of Huntz Hall; however, reviews of the film credit John Laurenz.
